History of the museum We would like to tell you more about the history of the museum and the location where we are now located. Museum de Vier Quartieren was founded almost half a century ago by the Van den Bergh couple and the folklorist Willy Knippenberg. It is located in the 16th century chapter house in the center of Oirschot, just behind the basilica and the Markt. The museum has its own collection and several loan collections, namely from Mr. Knippenberg, the Van den Bergh couple and the Vogels family.
